1. Launching photoshop; opening a file; the toolbox; saving into photoshop format; navigating; using the navigator palette.
2. Image resolutions; image sizes; resizing images; cropping images.
3. Rectangle and elliptical marquee tools; constraining shapes; lasso; polygon and magnetic lasso tools; saving a selection, magic wand tool; subtracting from a selection.
4. Resizing, rotating moving and copying a selection; erase tool; history palette; feathering edges.
5. Greyscale and bitmap images; creating a duotone image; colour modes.
6. Colour palette; colour picker; eyedropper; line tool; fill command; paintbrush tool; clone stamp tool; gradient tool.
7. Creating layers; adding text to a layer; hiding, moving and copying layers; scaling a layer; adding effects to layers, merging layers.
8. Sharpening an image; rippling an image; other distortion effects; adding a lens flare, adding a texture, other filter effects.
9. Brightening and darkening images; removing dust and scratches; adjusting an image’s overall tones; changing the hue and saturation.
10. Saving into a TIFF file format; saving an image for the web.
