Using Outlook 2007 Effectively
Learn Microsoft Outlook 2007 in our Aberdeen Training Centre on this 1 day tutor led workshop. This course is designed for those who are familiar with Outlook and would like to learn some ‘time-saving’ features by effectively managing emails in your inbox. Features include: inserting links to documents, working with personal folders to avoid those ‘mailbox full’ messages, using the calendar feature to create your appointments, invite others to your meetings and set up contacts and distribution lists.

Create personal folders
Create sub-folders within a personal folder
Move existing folders from the inbox to a personal folder
Move emails to a personal folder
Create rules to automate moving specified emails to folders
Assign emails to categories
Flag messages for follow-up
Set options for your outgoing messages – receipts, expiry, time delays
Create and edit multiple auto signatures
Switch between auto signatures
Create a link to a document on the shared drive
Save an email to the network
Save a file attachment to the network
Calendar
Display different views of the calendar
Create and edit appointments
Set-up recurring appointments
Create an appointment/meeting and invite others to the meeting
Print various views of the calendar
How to share your calendar with other users
How to access shared calendars
Contacts
Create contact details for those not in the Global address list
Quickly send an email from the contact folder
Set-up a personal distribution list (contact list)
Send an email to your personal distribution list
Add a contact from email into your contacts folder
